Soleana Silva

I’m a bilingual (English/Spanish) Outpatient Therapist who is also a Licensed Behavioral Specialist and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She obtained a Master of Science degree in Psychology, from Phoenix University and Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, from Lancaster Bible College in 2018. Soleana has completed Foundational Training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), an evidence-based therapy. In addition, Soleana holds a post-master’s degree certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) from Bryn Mawr College Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research and has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), ExRP (exposure and ritual prevention), and DBTPE. She provides individual and family therapy for children, teens and adults and DBT for adolescents at both the MAPS/Lancaster and Dauphin Outpatient locations. Soleana also offers DBT for adults and facilitates the trauma processing group for women at the MAPS location. Her previous professional experience includes: providing counseling for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families utilizing varied theoretical approaches including multi-systemic therapy. Soleana also teaches college courses at Harrisburg Area Community College.
