Jennifer Manning Plassnig is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, National Board Certified Fellow in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Certified Process Acupressure Practitioner, a Board Certified Diplomate in Social Work and a Certified Soul Guidance Sacred Mentor practitioner. She has a private practice in Woodstock, Maryland providing traditional psychotherapy using Cognitive-Behavioral therapies, Hypnotherapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and various mind-body techniques, such as EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), Seva Stress Release Protocol from Process Acupressure and other forms of energy work to adults, adolescents, children, families and groups. She has received extensive advanced post-graduate training in Hypnosis, EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, Emotion Code, Energy Psychology, Cranial Sacral methods, Crystal Healing and Acupressure techniques. Jennifer is also a Reiki Master.
Jennifer has 20 years of experience working in various settings including therapeutic group homes, special education schools, psychiatric hospitals, and various outpatient settings.
