Hi, I’m Rachel Cooper, a compassionate and dedicated mental health therapist who specializes in helping you overcome what’s holding you back. If you’re dealing with anxiety, panic, phobias, PTSD, or trauma, you might feel like you’re stuck in a rut. You might feel like they’re interfering with relationships, work, hobbies, or happiness. I’m ready to help you break free from their grip and reclaim your life. I have the expertise you need to overcome anxiety and the daily experiences that interfere with your sense of wellbeing and health.
My approach is all about giving you the power to direct your own healing while providing guidance and support. I use a variety of evidence-based techniques focused on strength and skill building, and my secret weapon is EMDR, a powerful intervention that helps you process traumatic memories, negative experiences, and rewire your brain for positive change.
Ready to face your fears head-on? I am here, ready to guide you through the challenges and celebrate your victories. Together, you’ll rewrite the narrative of anxiety, panic, phobias, and trauma, unlocking a future filled with resilience and confidence.
During sessions she seeks to create a relaxed and safe environment for you to experience new personal insights, growth and a better understanding of themselves so they can heal and engage with life in healthier ways.
Rachel has received training in EMDR and will be fully trained as an EMDR therapist in April of 2023. She has additionally received training in the Flash Technique, a powerful tool to reduce distress around trauma or other distressing events. Through this lens she effectively treats anxiety, depression, PTSD, ODD, ADHD, substance misuse, and self-esteem.
