I specialize in complex trauma and work from a compassionate, strengths-based perspective. I help clients understand that symptoms like anxiety, depression, or dissociation are not signs of weakness, but survival strategies—adaptive responses to trauma that once kept you safe. My approach integrates Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and Polyvagal Theory to support nervous system regulation, self-awareness, and healing.
In therapy, we explore and honor the parts of you that have protected you, while also identifying new, more effective ways to reduce distress and increase daily functioning. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where all parts are welcome and lasting change is possible.
THERAPIES USED:
Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal Theory, and Flash Technique.
