Caroline is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with the State of Florida with over 15 years of experience. Caroline has a Master’s degree in Education, as we well as a specialist degree in Marriage and Family Counseling from the University of Florida. She is honored to be a partner at the Gainesville Family Institute, as well as a State Approved Supervisor for Mental Health Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists in training. Caroline sees clients aged 13 and up and all backgrounds. Aside from individual counseling, Caroline has expertise in working with families and couples. She has experience and training in peer/relational issues, family conflict, parenting, adjustment issues, self-esteem, anxiety, and general emotional distress. Caroline is also a EMDRIA Approved EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapist and has specialty training and experience in treating trauma. She is a recent trainee in Flash Technique and excited to add it to her Trauma Processing toolbox.
