I am currently an associate clinical social worker #110724 under the supervision of Janice Huang of Present Moment Wellness. I trained with and conducted research on FT with Dr. Sik-Lam Wong and Dr. Kristen Gustavson (Research on low intensity flash technique trauma intervention: [https://doi.org/10.1891/EMDR-2022-0059])
I am also EMDR-trained and draw upon my personal and professional experience with radical therapy, IFS, narrative therapy, and ACT.
As a Vietnamese-American first (or 1.5) generation immigrant, refugee, parent, and educator, I am dedicated to providing a collaborative space where you can express your needs and wishes, be your authentic self, and share your unique story–where you are believed and believed in.
My style has been described as curious, down-to-earth, sincere, candid, playful, and nonjudgmental.
I support people of all ages, from diverse backgrounds, identities, and faiths. I am conversational in Vietnamese and Japanese but conduct therapy mainly in English via telehealth in California.
