We serve individuals/families, and corporate agencies, including first responders. Mrs. Sullins is tenured in the areas of trauma-focused therapy (TF-CBT), trauma-informed care, and crisis and disaster mental health. She feels it is necessary to provide the assessment of individuals as an integral facet of the treatment process.
Mrs. Sullins is FEMA trained, a Licensed Red Cross Disaster Mental Health Volunteer for the AL/MS and Carribean regions, receiving advanced training in the areas of Incident Command/Mass Casualty, Crisis Response, and threat assessment. She is an Instructor of Dark Fox, Violence Prevention, and Anti-Human Trafficking programs and Sexual Exploitation training. She is Active Shooter-Active Killer trained and an Instructor of Mental Health First Aid- training adults in aiding youth, teens, and first responders. She is an affiliate of D Prep Safety, working to educate on the potential risks of violence in schools, places of worship, college capuses, and the workplace. Doing outreach and offering services to first responders, social services, veterans, pastors, victim advocates, and organizations is one of our priorities. Healing Hearts was Founded by Mrs. Sullins to enhance resiliency factors in high stress occupations while partnering with communities to grow and to infuse healing, growth, and resilience. “I value the support and trust by local state agencies entrusted to me as a provider to be able to offer services for abuse and/or crime victims” as we contract with local fire departments, school systems, Local and County Law Enforcement agencies, and the 1:1 Foundation, just to name a few. Growing as communities and families, we face challenges that we may not be accustomed to. Healing Hearts has been preparing for the designation of an Alabama Family Resource Center (ANFRC) and will launch in 2026. We need passionate, like-minded volunteers, donors, and supporters as we care for those impacted by adversities through educating, advocating, and elevating understanding while encouraging personal protective factors”.
