I am UK trained chartered and registered counselling and research psychologist. I hold a research fellowship exploring the impact of COVID on clinically extremely vulnerable people. In addition to my NHS role, I have been building my private practice and have extensive experience working with clients who are living with chronic or acute illness, phobias, stress, anxiety disorders, depression and trauma. I have additional interests in supporting individuals in coping with grief and loss, emotional regulation, self-esteem and confidence.
I am an integrative practitioner and draw on a number of therapeutic modalities and techniques including cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), relational therapy, compassion-focused approaches (CFT), narrative approaches, trauma-focussed approaches and the flash technique. I aim to provide each client with a bespoke treatment plan tailored to their specific needs and goals. I currently provide short and long-term therapy online.
