I am Sinead O’Carroll, a registered BACP (British Association for Counselling Practitioners) therapist, based in the UK.
I work as an integrative therapist, specialising in working with psychological trauma and its symptoms including anxiety, stress, dissociation and relationship issues. I use a very holistic, flexible and individualised approach to each of my clients, combining different aspects of a variety of therapeutic approaches such as Person-Centred, CBT, Gestalt, Psychodynamic, Polyvagal Theory and Trauma Informed Practice. I see you as an individual, there is no-one else like you and my approach reflects this.
Having worked extensively in the creative arts, as a performing musician, an Associate Director at a leading international artist management agency, founding an international music competition for young people and running my own artist and project management company, I am passionate about using my experience within this field to help people within and outside the creative community with issues that they may find themselves dealing with on a day to day basis.
