Counselling is a collaborative process between a counselor and an individual in which the individual is given an opportunity to work through their feelings, thoughts, and experiences to better understand themselves and how behavioral patterns may be problematic. Through counselling, an individual is able to examine and access their exisiting emotional, behavioral, and psychological resources and, if necessary, develop new resources to enhance their life and relationships. The objective of counselling is for an individual to achieve clarity, inner peace and satisfaction in their lives and in their relationships.
