Dayna Taberner – Mental Health Counselling has specialised in the mental health field for over 15 years. Dayna is an
Accredited Mental Health Social Worker who also holds a Masters in Mental Health Sciences.
Dayna has worked in various areas in mental health including community mental health, the acute unit, Emergency Department, and private practice. Dayna is trained in and utilises therapies such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Flash Technique, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cogntiive Behaviour Therapy for Eating Disorders (CBT-E) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Special interests include but are not limited to Gender Dysphoria and Eating Disorders.
She provides a safe and comfortable environment for people to explore their difficulties and find solutions and strategies and move forward towards a better quality of life.
She is passionate about working with young people and their families and has done so since the beginning of her career. She also works regularly with individual adults, couples and families.
