Chiara Greenhalgh is a registered psychologist through the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), who has been treating clients since 2010. Chiara has experience working with a range of mental health disorders.
Chiara applies a kind, non-judgmental and empathic approach in therapy. Her therapy has a primary focus on symptom reduction, problem-solving, psycho-education and memory reprocessing. She also has a focus on giving clients valuable skills and knowledge to walk away with after therapy.
Chiara uses several evidence-based strategies such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Flash Technique, and solution focused therapies to create and carry out a customised therapy plan for each individual’s specific needs.
Chiara is also a board approved supervisor to provisional psychologists who are completing their university training.
