I have experience working with children and adolescents, including those in foster care, their foster parents as well as their biological parents, older adults, adults with various presenting concerns including addiction/substance abuse and codependency, dual diagnosis, grief, emotional dysregulation (anxiety, depression and the like), stress and immigration stress and trauma/post traumatic stress. I have also worked with individuals from other countries both here in the United States and during my time in South Korea.
I practice cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) and attachment focused emdr, motivational interviewing as well as other common modalities of intervention.
My approach to therapy allows me to meet individuals where they are so to provide a safe space to share concerns, receive empathy and acceptance and grow in understanding of themselves.
