Sometimes you don’t know what’s wrong … you just know something is wrong. Behaviours and thoughts that were helpful may have become unhelpful and harmful. Maybe you are tired of feeling unloveable, disconnected, incompetent, alone, anxious or depressed. I work with men and women who want to better cope and who are ready to be heard and validated, with caring, respect and compassion.
I take a compassionate-focussed, strengths-based and collaborative approach. Together we will consider how your thoughts, and behaviours connect. We will look at what has worked … and what hasn’t. We will take steps towards learning where you want to go and how you might get there.
I practised law for years in major law firms and financial institutions locally and internationally before moving into mental health. Now I offer suicide intervention training as well as therapy and counseling by telephone and video. I have not yet resumed in-person work due to COVID.
