Amber (they/them) is a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor (LADC) and is currently under supervision to become a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). The nature of their offerings specializes in trauma, LGBTQ+ care, alcohol and substance use, neurodivergence, dissociation and plurality, grief, and relational work. They provide services through practicing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), harm reduction, Internal Family Systems (IFS)/parts work, Flash Technique, culturally affirming practices, Narrative Exposure Therapy, and trauma-informed care. They create a supportive, person-centered space to help you find hope and achieve your recovery goals. Ultimately, the therapeutic relationship is the most crucial aspect of healing. They use a warm and collaborative style, which is supported by principles rooted in anti-oppressive, sex positive, and anti-diet based approaches. Amber enjoys finding ways to make therapy accessible for everyone through creativity, teamwork, and curiosity. Their service dog, Juno, helps them and is equally as enthusiastic about coming to work each day. They are looking forward to connecting with you!
