My integrative approach uses both “top-down” and “bottom-up” techniques to help you reclaim your life. “Top-down” methods, like Third-wave Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, help you challenge the negative thoughts and beliefs fueling your anxiety and disconnection. “Bottom-up” methods use somatic techniques to connect you with your body’s wisdom, release trapped emotions, and let go of unhealthy coping mechanisms. When appropriate, I also incorporate memory reconsolidation to gently explore and process distressing memories that contribute to the cycle.
This combination helps you quiet the mental chatter, reconnect with your inner calm, and cultivate hope – empowering you to understand yourself better and take meaningful steps towards lasting peace, hope, and the ability to bounce back from difficult experiences.
