Cynthia Good is a Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Lead, and psychotherapist at Mill Creek Family Services in Washington state. She is an EMDR Therapist, ESTNA and ESTI Certified Ego State Therapy (EST) Therapist, Registered Hypnotherapist, International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and PMH-C Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional. She is also trained in the Flash Technique. Among her specialties is working with individuals coping with challenges during their reproductive and parenting years, such as infertility; prenatal and postpartum depression and anxiety; loss, grief, and trauma; emotional challenges related to lactation; parenting children with special needs and medical challenges; parenting in a context of giftedness and neurodiversity; parenting in a context of adoption; healing from domestic violence and narcissistic abuse; and parenting while experiencing social injustice. She provides psychotherapy services via telehealth to clients anywhere in Washington state.
She formerly served as Adjunct Professor in the Department of Midwifery at Bastyr University, where she taught counseling skills. In addition, she is an author, consultant, and internationally recognized speaker who provides psychology, equity/diversity/inclusion, lactation, and parenting-related training and education to health care providers, mental health care providers, organizations, and individuals. She is passionate about social justice, including providing support during psychotherapy to understand, counter, and heal the impact of intersecting systems of privilege/oppression on pregnancy, birth, parenting, and mental health.
