I have had training in a variety of theoretical approaches of psychotherapy including cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, family systems therapy, couples therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. My areas of expertise include treating:

– people with insomnia (I am certified in CBT-I, cognitive-behavioral therapy for insomnia, the first-line treatment for insomnia)
– people with anxiety disorders, such as problems with panic, phobias, and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
– people with depression
– couples
– families in which all members in therapy are adults
– people with relationship problems
– people struggling with the psychological effects of infertility and fertility treatments
– people with work-related issues
– people who are trying to figure out “who they are”
In addition, I have been certified in clinical hypnosis and may also recommend that we use hypnosis as a way to make our work together more efficient.
