Travis earned his Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology from Cal State Fullerton and graduated with honors. He acquired his Bachelors in Psychology from Cal Baptist University. He is also a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA) as well as the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT). Travis believes in addressing the personal, social, biological, psychological, and spiritual aspects of an individual. He utilizes techniques to aid clients in becoming present to the “here and now” and is influenced by personal responsibility, rooted in the science of attachment, existential and mindfulness theories from writers such as Viktor Frankl and Jon Kabat-Zinn. He has further training and expertise in AF-EMDR, Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT).
He focuses on: men and masculinity, young adults, pre-marital and couples, trauma, depression, anxiety, self-identity, existential crisis, personal development, and anger management.
