Dave created Kenosis Counseling Center, Inc. in 1998. Throughout his years of training as a clinical social worker and certified life coach, his vision has always been to celebrate strengths, moving clients from a good life to one which is extraordinary. He believes that having a joy-filled life is possible by enhancing happiness, abundance and success!
Dave also strongly believes that change is possible, no matter what the circumstance. He believes in the importance of being fully present with each individual in an authentic and genuine manner. It is in this way that “kenosis” occurs, from ancient Greek “to empty.” His practice was founded on his belief of personal transformation, “Empty yourself, change your life, fill your future.”
Dave completed his Master’s Degree at Indiana University School of Social Work (IUSSW) in 1992. In addition to his more than 32 years of clinical experience, he is a seasoned trainer, workshop and retreat presenter as well as adjunct faculty for IU School of Social Work. Dave continues to be a lover of learning and he’s constantly adding new techniques and strategies to his toolbox.
